Day 1
The riders meet up at Melun RER train station at 2pm (or at 6pm at the St Rémy lès Chevreuse train station if the starting riding point is at Versailles). The riders are transferred to the guesthouse before the first guided tour: Vaux le Vicomte castle. It was edified by Nicolas Fouquet in 1615, and served as a model for Louis XIV to build the Versailles castle.Dinner and night is at the guesthouse.

Day 2
We have breakfast and are transferred to the stables. The departure of the riding tour is at about 10am from the Vaux-le-vicomte castle. We ride through the park, and then, we ride towards the Fontainebleau forest. It is a half-wooded riding. Then, we have a picnic lunch along the Seine at Fontaine-le-port, and we ride again in the forest in a varied terrain: reliefs, rocks, sand, birch, oak, beech wood... We cross the Fontainebleau castle park. Arrival at the end of the afternoon at the Pheasantry in the forest.Dinner and night is at the guesthouse.

Day 3
Today, we ride across the Fontainebleau forest, and enjoy galloping in the wood paths. We have a picnic lunch at the Courances castle and visit the gardens: one of the most beautiful examples of Renaissance water gardens created at the XVIIth century. In the afternoon, we ride through cultivations, great spaces and forests landscapes. We also go through a former Roman path.Dinner and night is at the guesthouse.

Day 4
Today, we go towards Courson, an undulating region with sparse forests, and long and beautiful paths lead us until Chamarande castle. Here, we have a picnic lunch and a visit of the castle built in the XVIIth century, in the style of Louis XIII. This domain leads us in the contemporary art world. We ride through the Chamarande forest, and then, we visit Saint-Sulpice-de-Favières church. This sanctuary is the most beautiful in the region. This church, built in 1245, is a flamboyant gothic church. We spend the evening at Courson Castle, and have dinner and night in a hotel or in Fontenay-lès-briis Castle.

Day 5
After breakfast, we pick up our horses. Today, the itinerary is more undulating. The region has beautiful forests and huge valleys. We ride nearby Marais Castle, which was an important meeting place for literary and political men at the XIXth Century. We have a picnic lunch at the gold de Rochefort en Yvelines Castle. Then, we ride through the Rambouillet state-owned forest up to the la Tour pond.Dinner and night in the hotel.

Day 6
Departure at about 10am towards the La Tour pond, between forest and countryside, to reach the Vaux de Cernay abbey, built in the XIIth century by the monks of the Cistercian order. Today, there is a luxury hotel in this abbey. We have a picnic lunch and visit the Breteuil Castle. It has been built in the XVIth century in a Louis XII style, and is amazingly furnished. 50 wax characters brought from the Grévin museum add something funny to our visit. Then, we have an exhibition of the Perrault tales. Later, we saddle our horses again and ride towards the Chevreuse valley. We circumvent the town of Chevreuse and its castle built in the XIth century. Dinner and night in a guesthouse.

Day 7
Today, we ride only at a few kilometers from the bustle of Paris. We ride to the Versailles state-owned forest and reach Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole, and the Central Royal Gate of the Versailles Castle in the end. We go towards the majestic and impressive castle park Gate. We ride along the Grand Canal and nearby the Grand Trianon. We have a picnic lunch at the Saint Antoine tree nursury. We ride in the ceremony place, in the pièce d'eau des suisses, and through the Versailles state-owned forest (there is no visit of the castle scheduled: a visit can be organized before or after the riding tour if booking an extra night).Dinner and night in our guesthouse.

Day 8
