  We will send you a booking form, you just have to fill it and send it back.

RIDE IN FRANCE - TRAVELLER'S CHART

YOUR ATITUDE DURING THE RIDING TOUR

A horse riding trail is a moment of discovery, conviviality and outdoor life in harmony with your horse companion. The success of these trips requires the respect of rules, which can be different from those you usually apply in your riding school. During the riding trail, we ask you to respect people and do not abuse their hospitality, and learn some words in French because it's always an appreciated effort. Don't take pictures of peoples you don't know without their consent. Do not hesitate to ask the guide for advice on the attitude to adopt. Finally, remember that unusual, unforeseen, and sometimes surprising situations will remain your best memories!

YOUR HORSE AND YOU

• The harness will certainly be different than the one you're used to. Don't hesitate to ask some help to saddle / unsaddle in order to avoid hurting your horse.
• Maintain a good relationship with your horse by adopting an adequate behavior: do not shout, do not make abrupt movements, encourage and reward your horse frequently. A mutual trust has to be established.
• Respect the safety distances with the horse preceding you: you have to see the hooves of the horse in front of you above your own horse's ears. Do not canter to catch up with the group if you are far behind.
• You must trust your horse in the difficult passages, hang on to the mane, and leave him long reins.
• To relieve your horse's back, rise on your stirrups when you go uphill, lean back and retain your horse when going downhill, and walk if it is too steep.
• We highly recommend you to wear a helmet / riding hat.
• Horses are like humans, that means that you can ask our guide to change horse during the first day if you don't feel comfortable with your horse. It will be better for everybody.

THE GROUP AND YOU

• Never get off your horse and never change pace without the guide's authorization.
• Ask some assistance to your guide or to the other riders if necessary, and help the less experienced riders.
• Pass on the information coming from the front (pace, branch, danger...) to the riders following you.
• Participate in the collective tasks. Share, whether it is water, food, equipment, experiences!

NATURE AND YOU

• Respect the environment in which you travel, do not throw your waste in the nature. Take a lighter during bivouacs to burn the toilet paper, prefer natural shampoo and soap. Pay attention to the fire.
• Respect the fauna and avoid being noisy in wild areas. Do not take plants, objects made of feathers, claws and fur of wild animals.
